Description
<p>The Kracher winery is located in Burgenland, in the Seewinkel region. The family business, which is under the management of Gerhard Kracher, specializes in sweet wines such as Beerenauslesen, Trockenbeerenauslesen and ice wines. In the vineyards are grown Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Traminer, Scheurebe, Muskat-Ottonel and also Zweigelt grapes. Due to the excellent climate and soil conditions, the harvest is always first class. </p><h3>Tasting notes:</h3><p>Light salmon pink with ocher reflections. On the nose, fine nuances of bourbon vanilla, figs, nougat aromas, spicy hints. On the palate elegant, mineral, fruity of ripe cherries as well as nougat notes. The long finish is accompanied by honey as well as red berries.<br><br>Grape variety: Zweigelt.<br>Maturation: Barrique.<br>Acidity: 7,6 g/l.<br>Residual sugar: 218 g/l.<br>Closure: screw cap.<br>Drinking temperature: 10-12 °C.<br><br>This Zweigelt harmonizes perfectly with roasted goose liver, plums as well as gingerbread mousse.<br> </p>
