<p>The Kracher winery is located in Burgenland, in the Seewinkel region. The family business, which is under the management of Gerhard Kracher, specializes in sweet wines such as Beerenauslesen, Trockenbeerenauslesen and ice wines. In the vineyards are grown Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Traminer, Scheurebe, Muskat-Ottonel and also Zweigelt grapes. Due to the excellent climate and soil conditions, the harvest is always first class.<br><br>Awards:<br>- 91/100 points from Falstaff<br>- 92/100 points A la Carte<br>- 16,2/20 points Gault & Milau</p><h3>Tasting notes:</h3><p>Light salmon pink with gold reflections in the glass. On the nose hints of roses, hibiscus, nutmeg notes, wood spice. On the palate juicy, balanced, woody sweet after vineyard peaches as well as hibiscus. Long lasting on the finish.<br><br>Grape variety: Rose muscatel.<br>Aging: In new barriques.<br>Acidity: 7,8 g/l.<br>Residual sugar: 261,1 g/l.<br>Closure: screw cap.<br>Drinking temperature: 10-12 °C.<br><br>Excellent with duck liver terrine and berry tart with mint.</p>
