The Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength is a cask strength bottling from the whisky distillery Glenfarclas.
The Glenfarclas distillery needs only 3 ingredients for the production of their whiskies; fresh spring water, malted barley and yeast.
Glenfarclas was one of the first distilleries that brought their single malts also in cask strength on the market.
The Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength has an original cask strength of 63.5% by volume, here the alcohol content is reduced by the 'Angel's Share' after 8 to 10 years to 60% by volume.
The whiskies were stored in former bourbon and sherry casks.
The name of the single malt "105" refers to their alcohol content in British Proof.
