<p>The Aberlour whiskey distillery is located in Charlestown of Aberlour in Scotland.<br>The distillery has passed through many hands since its founding in 1826 and is now owned by Chivas Brothers.<br><br>This 18-year-old single malt was bottled entirely in exquisite Oloroso sherry casks and then combined with Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, giving this Aberlour its unique flavor.</p><p><strong>Colour:</strong> Golden brown.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>Delightful fruitiness accompanied by toffee, caramel, orange notes.<br><strong>Palate:</strong> Full-bodied, dried fruit, honey notes, chocolate covered raisins, hints of nutmeg.<br><strong>Finish: </strong>Long lasting, balanced, vanilla, oak nuances.</p>
