Compass Box decided it&nbsp;was time for a&nbsp;mutation again.<br>A&nbsp;whisky for lovers of&nbsp;complex, multi-layered peat whiskies.<br>This blended malt is&nbsp;a&nbsp;marriage of&nbsp;two malts from Islay.<br><strong>Colour: </strong>Light gold.<br><strong>Nose:</strong> Intense, slightly fruity, malt.<br><strong>Taste: </strong>Complex, balanced, peat, smoke, hint of&nbsp;fruit.<br><strong>Finish: </strong>Long lasting, fruity malt.<br>A&nbsp;fantastic digestif for the evening as&nbsp;well as&nbsp;a&nbsp;wonderful companion to&nbsp;blue cheese.</li><li><strong>1x Compass Box SPICE TREE Blended Malt 46% Vol. 0,05 l</strong><br>At&nbsp;Compass Box «Spice Tree» is&nbsp;a&nbsp;vatted Highland malt full of&nbsp;spice flavors. The whiskies for Spice Tree come only from distilleries in&nbsp;the northern Highlands, mainly from the village of&nbsp;Brora. The first maturation takes place in&nbsp;a&nbsp;mix of&nbsp;first-fill and refill American oak casks. The second maturation uses heavily toasted French oak barrel ends, resulting in&nbsp;a&nbsp;distinct flavor profile due to&nbsp;the heavy toasting. The second maturation lasts two years.<br>All bottlings of&nbsp;Compass Box are not chill-filtered and without colorants.<br><strong>Colour:</strong> Gold.<br><strong>Nose:</strong> cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg.<br><strong>Taste: </strong>Rich, intense, spicy, sweet, oak, vanilla.<br><strong>Finish:</strong> Long lasting.</li><li><strong>1x Compass Box THE SPANIARD Blended Malt 43% Vol. 0,05 l</strong><br>The story of&nbsp;this blended malt begins on&nbsp;a&nbsp;trip to&nbsp;the south of&nbsp;Spain when John Glaser, 'whiskymaker' of&nbsp;Compass Box, learned a&nbsp;lot about the local sherry wines.<br>Years later, when he&nbsp;discovered the signature Scotch whisky, sherry became an&nbsp;issue again, as&nbsp;many whiskies receive a&nbsp;finish in&nbsp;their casks.<br>The Compass Box THE STORY OF&nbsp;THE SPANIARD is&nbsp;a&nbsp;blend of&nbsp;malt whiskies that are aged in&nbsp;sherry casks.<br>All bottlings of&nbsp;Compass Box are not chill-filtered and without colorants.
