<p>Since the founding of the Balvenie distillery, there have been hardly any changes; the single malts are still produced in the traditional way.<br>Together with its sister distillery Glenfiddich, The Balvenie is still independent and family-owned by its founders.<br><br>The Balvenie 15 Years Old MADEIRA CASK Finish matures first in American oak before it receives its finish in Madeira Casks.</p><h3>Tasting notes:</h3><p>Color: Amber.<br>Nose: Fruity, notes of black currants, blackberries.<br>Taste: Mild, sweet, notes of ripe peaches, oranges, hazelnuts, oak.</p>
