<p>The boutique winery Heredad Segura Viudas is located outside Barcelona, Spain, nestled in the sunny vineyards of the ancient Penedès wine region. The origins of this winery can be found as far back as the 11th century.<br>The winery emphasizes biodiversity and is certified as a winery for climate protection.<br><br>For the Segura Viudas CAVA Rosé, the grapes are harvested and processed by hand. The first and second fermentation takes place with own selected yeast.<br>The Trepat is macerated for 24 hours at 12-14°C. The Garnacha is macerated for 12 hours at 16-18°C to enhance the flavour. The Pinot Noir is responsible for the spicy note and is macerated in the trailer on its way to the winery.</p><h3>Tasting notes:</h3><p>A fruity Cava from a Cuvée, selected top wines. The Segura Viudas CAVA Rosé is characterized by its fruity and fresh body. Here Spanish temperament and sensual sparkling passion meet.<br>A pink-red in the glass. Fruity and clear aromas of strawberries and grenadines in the nose and taste. Long lasting and wonderfully tender in the finish.<br><br>Grape varieties: 40% Trepat, 20% Garnacha, 40% Pinot Noir.<br>Acidity: 3,6 g/l.<br>Drinking temperature: 6-8°C.<br><br>The Segura Viudas CAVA Rosé goes very well with starters, sweet desserts or fish dishes.</p>
