<p>William Deutz and Peter Geldermann founded their own business "Deutz &amp; Geldermann" in 1838.<br>In 1988, the company split into "Champagne Deutz" and "Badische Geldermann Privat-Sektkellerei".</p><p>When Louis Roederer took over Champagne Deutz in 1993, the phenomenal rise began.<br>About 30 hectares of vineyards, 10 of them in Les Menil-sur-Oger, Pinot Noir and of course Pinot Meunier as well as Chardonnay are among the grape varieties of Champagne Deutz.<br><br>The Deutz Brut Classic consists of one third each of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.<br>Depending on the vintage, 20%-40% reserve wines are added to the Brut Classic.</p><h3>Tasting notes:</h3><p>Delicate golden yellow in the glass. In the nose very elegant and rich in nuances. At the palate wonderfully tingling. Long lasting in the finish.</p>
