<p>The Portia winery is located in the Ribera del Duero wine region in Spain and covers 160 hectares. Besides Roa, Gumiel de Izán and Villanueva, Gumiel del Mercado is also part of the growing area.<br>The Portia house is also known for its unique construction. A building designed by Foster + Partners which is an architectural eye-catcher.</p><h3>Tasting notes:</h3><p>Ruby red in the glass. In the nose after fresh fruits, easily toasted, round and well integrated tannins. At the palate pleasant and fruity. Long lasting in the finish.<br><br>Grape variety: Tempranillo.<br>Aging: 3 months in oak barrels.<br>Closure: Cork.<br><br>The wine harmonizes very well with mushrooms, bacon, tuna and slightly matured cheese.</p>
