<p>Our Zinfandel from Mendocino is a pure varietal expression of red and black fruit, with a hint of black pepper and a concentrated finish. We also look to single vineyards in the Russian River and Dry Creek appellations that showcase the richness and distinction of those places.</p><p>Ruby red in color this wine has indigo blue and violet hues. There is a concentration of delicious, bright pomegranate and boysenberry aromas followed by mouthwatering blackberry pie crust. Flavors are led by bright raspberry and red cherry cola, all of which are framed by a subtle pepper note. The cheerful fruit is complemented by baking spice, most notably clove and cinnamon, with soft, mouth-watering tannins delivering a round, balanced finish.<br><br>Grape varieties: 86% Zinfandel, 12% Petite Syrah, 2% Carignan.<br>Aging: 1-2 years in French oak barrels.<br><br>Appellation: Mendocino County</p>
