<p>Pink gin is very much a thing – but pink rum?! That's exactly what we've got here from the Beach House folks in Mauritius (nothing to do with the American dream-pop band that also happens to be called Beach House, by the way).&nbsp;</p><p>This expression is built upon a base of molasses rum, and is flavoured with an intriguing combination of botanicals, namely blackcurrant, hibiscus, grapefruit, and coconut.&nbsp;</p><p>As you would expect from that description, it's packing plenty of vibrant, fruity, zesty notes, which means this will be a fab spirit for splashing in some refreshing, summery cocktails.&nbsp;</p><p>We reckon it might even do well simply with soda water and a good wedge of fresh grapefruit.</p><h3>Tasting Notes</h3><p>Grapefruit arrives first, shortly followed by floral fragrances and touches of brown sugar. A tangy touch of blackcurrant lasts on the finish.</p>
