<p>This Lepanto from Gonzáles Byass is, like all other products from their house, something very special.<br>Once again, the new creation of Gonzáles Byass brings the connoisseurs to marvel.<br>The name is supposed to remind of the sea battle in 1571 at Lepanto. The Ottoman fleet was defeated by the Holy League at that time.<br><br>The abbreviation 'O.V.' stands for 'Oloroso Viejo'; the indication for the fact that after the normal maturation, still another maturation takes place in barrels which have contained Oloroso Viejo before.<br>The blend matures so for the time being about 15 years and further three years in ex-Oloroso Veijo barrels.</p>
