<p>Ricard Pastis is an aniseed spirit from the house of Pernod. "Pastis" means "mixture" and describes this mixture of anise, sugar, fennel, liquorice roots, herbs etc. probably perfectly.&nbsp;</p><p>The addition of water creates the Louche-effect; the liqueur turns milky white, which is due to the insoluble essential oils in the liqueur.</p><p><strong>Tasting notes:</strong></p><ul><li>Color: Clear.&nbsp;</li><li>Nose: Sweetish, aniseed, spices.&nbsp;</li><li>Taste: Sweet, spicy, aniseed.&nbsp;</li><li>Finish: Long lasting.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>Mixing ratio: 1:5&nbsp;</p><p>Best enjoyed well chilled, pure or with a shot of water!&nbsp;</p><p>Do not store in the refrigerator!&nbsp;</p><p>When using ice cubes, an oil film is formed on the surface, so we would advise against this.</p>
