<p>An Dúlamán Irish Maritime Gin is the first gin distilled in Co. Donegal.<br>Dúlamán is the name of an Irish folk song that tells a conversation between two algae collectors.<br>The name «Santa Ana» comes from La Duquesa Santa Ana, an impressive Andalusian ship that was lost off Loughros Mor, Ardara, when Philip II tried to enter England in 1588.</p><p>Five locally harvested algae varieties and six other botanicals form the basis of this gin.<br>Aged in Rioja wine barrels, from the home region of the commander of Santa Ana, the gin takes on a beautiful rose gold tone and a slight sweetness that complements the rich umami notes of An Dúlamán Gin.<br>After ageing, Santa Ana is bottled with an Armada strength of 57% vol.</p><p><strong>Colour:</strong> pink gold.<br><strong>Nose:</strong> Soft, floral, salty marine aromas, notes of spices, liquorice.<br><strong>Taste:</strong> Light orange Madeira sweetness, hints of candied peel, fresh blackberries.<br><strong>Finish: </strong>Long lasting, warm orange.</p>
