<p>The Kyoto Distillery is the first Japanese gin distillery, which is located in Minami-Ku, in the south of the city of Kyoto.<br>The name has nothing to do with Obi-Wan Kenobi, although the pronunciation is similar.<br>Kenobi means 'the beauty of the seasons' and is inspired by Japanese tradition.</p><p>This gin is distilled and bottled in Kyoto.<br>Japanese botanicals such as yellow yuzu, hinoki wood chips (Japanese cypress), bamboo, goyokuro tea and green sansho berries (Japanese peppercorns) are used to make it.</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>Clear.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>Fresh, sanshõ, notes of herbs, bamboo.<br><strong>Flavour:</strong> Juniper, ginger, Japanese spices.<br><strong>Finish:</strong> Long lasting, spicy.</p>
