<p>Ungava Canada Gin takes its name from the Ungava Peninsula, which belongs to the state of Quebec.<br>The word «Ungava» comes from the ancient Inuit culture and means «towards the open water».</p><p>The botanicals used in Ungava Canadian Premium Gin (including juniper, crowberries and brier) also come from the Arctic region.<br>But why this gin has come to Canada has the following background: Trappers and gold miners have been drinking this gin in Canada for a long time, because they believe that gin has a medicinal effect on them.<br>Some traditional production methods for Ungava Canada Gin were adopted from the ancient Inuit.<br>The botanicals are first steeped in the alcohol and after distillation more botanicals are added.</p><p><strong>Color:</strong> Yellow. Nose: Fresh, floral, hints of juniper.<br><strong>Taste: </strong>Spicy, notes of pepper, hints of saffron.<br><strong>Finish:</strong> Long lasting, tart, juniper, notes of citrus.</p>
