<p><strong>Zacapa El Alma</strong> is the second release of an exclusive Guatemalan rum that comes from the limited edition <strong>Heavenly Cask Collection.</strong> This collection contains <strong>4 rums</strong> that have gone through the unique <strong>Solera</strong> aging process using different special barrels.</p><p>The rum comes from a magical place called <strong>House Above The Clouds,</strong> which is located in the mountains between active volcanoes at an altitude of <strong>2300 meters.</strong> This collection embodies the passion and years of dedicated detail work that Master Blender <strong>Lorena Vásquez</strong> puts into the creation of Zacapa rums.</p><p>This premium rum is matured in American <strong>ex-whiskey</strong> casks that have been burned with fire and are referred to as <strong>The Soul.</strong> The name El Alma means "soul" in Spanish. The name comes from the naming of the barrels in which the rum is matured. It is made from a mixture of several rums that have matured for <strong>6 to 23 years</strong> using the Solera system, which has given it a fantastic freshness.</p><p>We recommend serving neat at room temperature or with a large ice cube.
