<p>The Savanna distillery is&nbsp;located at&nbsp;the foot of&nbsp;the Piton de&nbsp;la&nbsp;Fournais volcano, on&nbsp;the shores of&nbsp;the Indian Ocean.<br>Rum has been produced there by&nbsp;hand from sugar cane juice and molasses since the 19th century.<br>The Savanna 5 Years Old Traditionnel Reunion Island Rum matures for 5 years in&nbsp;French oak cognac barrels.</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>Light amber.<br><strong>Nose:</strong> Fruity, notes of&nbsp;mangoes, pineapple, passion fruit, almonds, marzipan.<br><strong>Taste: </strong>Rich, soft, tropical fruity, notes of&nbsp;anise, saffron, curry.<br><strong>Finish:</strong> Long lasting.</p>
