Description
A 39 year-old Dictador Rum from a 1978 single vintage cask finished in bourbon barrels then shipped to Château d’Arche in Sauternes, Bordeaux, France, where it further spent 12 months in American Oak barrels from Quintessence.
Bottled at 44,1 % ABV.

Colour: Amber.
Nose: Summer berry jam, white chocolate, hints of vanilla pipe tobacco, followed by fresh red apples, suede, and butterscotch.
Palate: Soft brown sugars, freshly ground lightly roasted coffee, followed by toffee and red summer fruits, a hint of basil and some notes of anise.
Finish: Cigar wrappers, black currant juice, back forest gâteaux, freeze-dried raspberries and clove-studded oranges.
