<p><strong>The Malecon Reserva 5 years</strong> rum continues to&nbsp;be&nbsp;produced from a&nbsp;recipe established by&nbsp;Sr. Malecon, the Master Distiller, when he&nbsp;came over from Cuba.</p><p>A&nbsp;molasses based rum, this spirit has been aged for 5 years, to&nbsp;give it&nbsp;a&nbsp;little more maturity and a&nbsp;rounded character.</p><p><strong>Tasting notes</strong></p><p><strong>Color</strong>: Amber.<br><strong>Taste</strong>: Full, round, slightly dry.<br><strong>Finish</strong>: Long lasting.</p><p>The rum is&nbsp;a&nbsp;very good base for a&nbsp;cocktail or&nbsp;long drink.</p>
