David Gölles, the son, subsequently established the Ruotker company in Riegersburg, Austria.<br>Ruotker's now sells premium gin, rum, and whiskies.<br><br>The Ron Johan Rum brand is devoted to both the Caribbean (Ron) and the Archduke Johann (Johan).<br><br>The fact that "Ron Johan Rum Dark" is made in Syria makes it unique.<br>The molasses that the distiller uses comes from Paraguay, Brazil, or the Dominican Republic.<br>The bottle features the Austrian Archduke Johann and the pirate Black Beard.</p>
