<p>The deadhead bottlings are produced in&nbsp;Veracruz, a&nbsp;city rich in&nbsp;tradition in&nbsp;Mexico.<br>The premium rums present themselves as&nbsp;shrunken heads, which were taken home by&nbsp;the Mexican natives as&nbsp;a&nbsp;victory trophy after a&nbsp;fight.<br>The appearance of&nbsp;the bottles also reflects the so-called «Día&nbsp;de&nbsp;Los Muertos», the day of&nbsp;the undead.<br>A&nbsp;traditional holiday in&nbsp;Mexico.</p><p>This deadhead rum is&nbsp;distilled by&nbsp;pot still method. The distillate then matures for 6 years in&nbsp;oak barrels.<br>The Solera method is&nbsp;used for this.</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>Amber.<br><strong>Nose:</strong> apples, pears, mint, hints of&nbsp;chocolate, coffee, nutmeg, cinnamon.<br><strong>Taste:</strong> Notes of&nbsp;grass, caramel, spices, aniseed.<br><strong>Finish: </strong>Long lasting.</p>
