<p><strong>Ron Cacique 500&nbsp;</strong>was first released in 1992, in order to commemorate the 500th Anniversary of the Discovery of America.</p><p>This rum is produced in Venezuela, where pure spring waters surround the sugarcane plantations from which this rum is crafted.</p><p><strong>Ron Cacique 500</strong> is made from a blend of premium, high-end rums that were aged for a period of 8 years in American oak barrels. Initially, the rum was intended to be a limited-edition item, but its great acceptance among rum lovers persuaded the company to produce it on a regular basis. Currently, this is the distillery's flagship product.</p><ul><li>This rum has an intense amber colour with some copper-coloured tinges.&nbsp;</li><li>On the nose, we perceive notes of candied fruit, dry fruit, vanilla, old wood and sherry.&nbsp;</li><li>The palate is bold and smooth, with a long, toasted finish.</li></ul>
