<p>Long winters, summer frosts, and impossibly fast winds. The things that can make Orkney a somewhat challenging place to live make it an exceptional climate for creating and maturing extraordinary whisky. In celebration of this, and as a nod to Niflheim, one of the nine worlds of old Norse mythology and the birthplace of ice, frost and fog, we created Ice Edition 17 Year Old. Matured in ex-bourbon casks, Ice Edition offers aromas of cool, fresh pineapple, and ripe mango sorbet, and is balanced with spicy smoke and ginger root.
