Description
The OX Distillery & Manufacture GmbH already exists for 100 years.
The experience has been passed down from generation to generation in family ownership.
Since 2013, in addition to fine spirits, gin and whiskey are also produced.
Until then, the products could only be purchased directly from the manufacturer.
Now the distillery decided to offer the first whisky for the trade.
The OX 6 Years Old First Fill Oloroso Finish Single Malt Whisky matures for 5 years in an ex-bourbon cask and then receives its finish for 1 year in a 225 l First Fill Oloroso Cask.
This is a limited bottling of 387 bottles.
Colour: Bright gold.
Nose: Fruity, notes of raisins, bananas, dried apricots, orange chocolate.
Taste: Rich, fruity, notes of jam, white pepper, tobacco, wood, slight spiciness.
Finish: Long lasting, warm, pleasant.
