Amidst the wild beauty of Islay, the rough seas and winds of the Hebrides, Bowmore has been handcrafted since 1779.
In the legendary «No. 1 Vault», the old stone vault on the edge of Loch Indaal, the magical character of Islay and centuries-old traditions combine to create a single malt whisky with complex balance, mild Islay smokiness, maritime minerality and a wealth of fresh stone fruit flavours.
At 18 years old, Bowmore Deep & Complex was launched specifically for travel retail.
The Oloroso and Pedro Ximénex sherry casks used give this Islay single malt a perfect balance.
Colour: Amber.
Nose: Dark chocolate, smoke, toffee, hints of fruit.
Taste: Bittersweet orange peel, peaty roasted coffee, velvety mocha, notes of chocolate.
Finish: Long lasting.
