<p>With a&nbsp;population of&nbsp;only 3,000 inhabitants on&nbsp;Islay, it&nbsp;is&nbsp;somewhat surprising that there are around 140 committees on&nbsp;the island.<br>Among these committees, the largest one is&nbsp;of&nbsp;course the Ardbeg Committee with 120,000 members worldwide, and it&nbsp;is&nbsp;growing.<br>Exclusively for the members of&nbsp;this committee the Supernova bottlings are created since 2015.</p><p>This very limited edition is&nbsp;now the 5th bottling in&nbsp;this series and provides another peat eruption.</p><p>Ardbeg SUPERNOVA&nbsp;— the sensory abduction that nobody saw coming…</p><p><strong>Colour:</strong> Pale bronze.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>aniseed, menthol, eucalyptus, notes of&nbsp;sweet toffee, hints of&nbsp;peppermint, fennel.<br><strong>Taste: </strong>Peppery, explosive-intensive smoke with earthy aromas, notes of&nbsp;soot, oak, tar, menthol.<br><strong>Finish:</strong> Long lasting, notes of&nbsp;toffee, aniseed, oak, cloves, hints of&nbsp;bittersweet Seville oranges.</p>
