<p>The&nbsp;Great Northern Distillery produces the Two Stacks Irish Whiskeys.<br>Two Stacks is&nbsp;a&nbsp;whiskey brand from the Mourne Mountains in&nbsp;Ireland.<br>Three friends created the brand: Shane McCarthy, Donal McLynn and Liam Brogan.<br>The three place special emphasis on&nbsp;quality and traditional techniques&nbsp;— casks are emptied by&nbsp;hand and each bottle is&nbsp;labeled by&nbsp;hand.</p><p>The Two Stacks THE FIRST CUT Irish Whiskey is&nbsp;a&nbsp;blend of&nbsp;light, as&nbsp;well as&nbsp;dark grain, single pot still, double, as&nbsp;well as&nbsp;drunk malt.<br>Maturation is&nbsp;given to&nbsp;this whiskey in&nbsp;the finest ex-bourbon, oloroso sherry and virgin oak casks.</p><p>This bottling is&nbsp;neither chill-filtered nor colored.</p><p><strong>Colour:</strong> Bright amber.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>Fruity, spicy, notes of&nbsp;peach skin, custard, toasted oak, buttered bread, cereal.<br><strong>Taste: </strong>Fruity, notes of&nbsp;charred oak, lemon peel, toffee, white pepper, oak resin.<br><strong>Finish:</strong> Long lasting, smooth, sweet, smoky caramel, spices.</p>
