<p>The history of&nbsp;the Hyde family began in&nbsp;1640 when two brothers opened the «Tinker Cross» restaurant in&nbsp;West Cork, Ireland.<br>Here they served original Irish whiskey and stout tapped directly from oak casks.</p><p>After 10 generations, not much has changed&nbsp;— two brothers still care for traditional, fine Irish whiskeys.<br>The only difference? Alan and Conor are the first generation to&nbsp;do&nbsp;all this without the family pub.</p><p>The Hyde No.9 Port Cask 1906 Single Malt Irish Whiskey matures for 8 years and is&nbsp;made from Irish barley.<br>This whiskey is&nbsp;triple distilled and matures in&nbsp;Bourbon Cask. The finsih is&nbsp;done in&nbsp;Tawny Port Casks.</p><p><strong>Colour:</strong> dark amber.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>Dried fruit, cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins.<br><strong>Taste: </strong>Green apples, citrus fruits, dried fruits, spices, pepper, hazelnuts.<br><strong>Finish:</strong> Long finish, malt, spices.</p>
