Opis
The Oban Distillery was founded in 1793 in the west of Scotland, the Highlands.
After the foundation of the distillery, more and more people settled near the harbour from year to year.
The then owners failed to secure building sites around the distillery and suddenly the distillery was surrounded by houses.
Until today Oban produces no more than 700.000 liters of alcohol per year and that still with only two distillery boilers.
Oban is Gaelic and means 'little bay' in German.
Today the Oban Distillery is one of the smallest distilleries in the world.
The 21 year old whisky matures in re-filled European oak casks.

Nose: Fresh, piquant, floral, aromatic, rocket, asparagus, orange juice, tea biscuits
Taste: Blood oranges, raspberries, cinnamon, pepper, nuts.
Finish: Long lasting, juicy orange.
