Opis
There are two types of whiskey that are primarily associated with the USA: Bourbon and rye.
Behind the latter variety is whiskey made on the basis of rye. It stands out clearly from its European counterparts and has been brought to perfection by some long-established American distilleries.
The Koval Distillery is still quite young.
When it opened in 2008, it was the first whiskey distillery to be put into operation after prohibition in Chicago.
Colour: Amber.
Nose: multi-faceted, sweet, notes of fruit, vanilla, hints of oak.
Taste: Harmonious, slightly acidic, fresh, notes of candied fruit, butterscotch, hints of coconut shavings.
Finish: Long lasting, spicy.
