<p>The Scallywag Douglas Laing Small Batch Release is inspired by Douglas Laing’s fox terrier.<br>Fox terriers are known for being sweet and rather mischievous dogs.<br>The design of this bottle emphasizes this background idea.<br>And Scallywag also means «little rascal.»<br>This Speyside blended malts Scotch whisky matures in Spanish sherry butts and in bourbon hogshead casks.</p><p><strong>Awards:</strong><br>Scotch Whisky of the Year at Meininger’s International Spirits Awards 2022.<br>Double gold medal in 2019 at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco<br>Double gold medal in 2018 at the World Wine & Spirits Competition in New York</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>Amber.<br><strong>Nose:</strong> Sweet, powdered sugar, vanilla, raisins, hints of ginger and cereal.<br><strong>Taste:</strong> Sweet, dark chocolate, vanilla, hints of cinnamon and nutmeg.<br><strong>Finish:</strong> Long lasting, oranges, tobacco, cocoa.</p>
