Description
The Exceptional range is the combination of two people - Don Sutcliffe, managing director of Craft Distillers, and Willie Phillips, a former managing director of The Macallan.
The range comprises three products - grain, malt and blend.
These are made from a wide variety of whiskies from different distilleries. The whiskies are blended in sherry casks and bottled at 43% vol.
Colour: gold.
Nose: Oatmeal, notes of sugar, cinnamon, citrus, vanilla.
Taste: Rich, oatmeal, notes of cereal, pastry, vanilla, toffee, wood, cinnamon, tannin, rhubarb.
Finish: Long lasting.
