<p>Flora and Fauna, a moniker of the late whisky writer Michael Jackson, was a themed series of single malt whisky bottlings released by distilleries only.<br>Each distillery was given a particular creature to symbolize, elegantly depicted on each bottle's beautiful label.<br>Over time, as distilleries commercialized, closed or sold, the Flora and Fauna range dwindled, leaving these select remaining bottles as collector's items.<br><br>The Dailuaine 16 Years Old is a complex single malt whisky, full and sweet but also citrusy fresh.<br>An unusual combination of freshness and richness.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>Light mahogany.<br><strong>Nose:</strong> Notes of cheddar cheese, walnuts, butterscotch, oranges, notes of lemons, sandalwood, toffee.<br><strong>Taste:</strong> Sweet, warm, citrus freshness, notes of Highland toffee.<br><strong>Finish: </strong>Long lasting, warm, nutty.<br><br>Dailuaine is best served in a traditional whisky glass, neat or with a little water.&nbsp;</p>
