<p>The Shinobu Pure Malt Whisky is&nbsp;produced in&nbsp;Niigata.<br>Niigata is&nbsp;a&nbsp;major city at&nbsp;the mouth of&nbsp;the Shinano River and one of&nbsp;the largest port cities in&nbsp;Japan.<br>The word 'Shinobu' means indulgence in&nbsp;Japanese.</p><p>This whisky is&nbsp;aged for 15 years in&nbsp;former sherry and bourbon casks.<br>Master Distiller Usami-san selects the noble drops and unites them in&nbsp;a&nbsp;Japanese Mizunara barrel by&nbsp;giving them the finish.</p><p>The bottling is&nbsp;done without artificial colors.</p><p><strong>Awards:</strong><br>Category Winner at&nbsp;World Whisky Awards 2020&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>Dark gold with mahogany accents.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>Maltose, nectar, blueberries, Mizunara oak, latte.<br><strong>Taste:</strong> Oily, ripe fruit, lemon peel, cinnamon, ginger.<br><strong>Finish: </strong>Long lasting, touch of&nbsp;sweet malt, oak, fruit.</p>
