Description
On the northernmost shores of Scotland, where the North Sea meets the coast of Caithness, there is a town. Home to a whisky that captures the essence of its location. This is Wick and Old Pulteney; the martime malt.
With traditional warehouses exposed to the invigorating sea air coming in from the North Sea, Old Pulteney captures the taste of the sea in every drop of its liquid gold.
From subtle coastal chords to clearer salty notes, the taste of Old Pulteney whisky says a lot about the role and influence of the region.
The Old Pulteney Vintage 2006 is distilled from the finest Scottish barley. It is aged in American ex-bourbon barrels selected by the manager Malcom Waring.
The good combination of high quality Scotch whisky and carefully selected oak casks results in an incomparable taste.

Nose: Elegant, sweet, fresh, melting toffee, creamy vanilla, oily lemons, notes of fresh sea air
Taste: Sweet, intense, honey, lemons, crème brulée, coconuts, green apples.
Finish: Long lasting, sweet.
