The Glen Grant Rothes Chronicles CASK HAVEN Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the first of soon to be three limited edition whiskies in the Rothes Chronicles series.
This whisky is produced at the Glen Grant distillery. The whisky bears the name of its home town Rothes, in Scotland.
The distillery became a member of the Campari Group in 2006. Campari is an Italian company that is one of the sixth largest suppliers of spirits in the world.
The name Cask Haven is dedicated to the inventiveness and inventive spirit of James Grant, who took over the distillery after the death of the founders.
This whisky matures in first-fill bourbon and sherry casks.
Colour: Light gold.
Nose: fruit, Christmas spices, raisins, vanilla.
Taste: Creamy, nuts.
Finish: Long lasting, sweetish.
