<p>This blend celebrates the friendship between King Haakon VII of Norway and Albert Riise’s son and successor Valdemar Riise.&nbsp;</p><p>The drops accommodates a long-expressed desire from rum aficionados from all over the world, as it expands upon the navy tradition by using large quantities of pot still rum.&nbsp;</p><p>To recreate the ambience of olden-day navy rum we have given the drink a velvet touch and a sweet twist.</p><p><strong>NOSE</strong></p><p>First comes vanilla, coconut and butter caramel. Later there is a hint of caramelised apple cake with a slightly burnt edge and discrete floral note of lavendar.</p><p><strong>TASTE</strong></p><p>The primary aromatic notes are also discernible in the taste, with the coconut coming to the forefront.</p><p><strong>FINISH</strong></p><p>The vanilla and butter caramel linger long, together with a hint of orange peel, which balances the spirit very well indeed.</p><p><strong>COLOR</strong></p><p>Light gold</p>
