<p>Tamnavulin is a whisky distillery in Scotland, which has only existed under this name since 2000.<br>Tamnavulin is Gaelic and means "mill on the hill" or "mill in the mountains".<br>The distillery was opened in 1966 and closed again in 1995.<br><br>After a name change and some renovation work, the distillery was allowed to reopen its doors in 2007.<br>Today, typical Speyside Whisky with a strong character is produced here.<br>The Tamnavulin Double Cask Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky matures in American oak casks and in former sherry casks.</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>Amber.<br><strong>Nose:</strong> Warm, honey, apples, toffee, marzipan, jam.<br><strong>Taste:</strong> Fresh, demerara sugar, pears, peaches, pineapple.<br><strong>Finish: </strong>Long lasting, fresh.</p>
