Description
<p>The founder of the company, Don Andrés Brugal Montaner, left his native Spain in order to become rich in the Caribbean.<br>After he had learned the craft of rum production in Cuba, he was drawn to the Dominican Republic, more precisely to Puerto Plata, around 1855. The rums of the Brugal company still mature in this city today.</p><p>The Brugal Doble Reserva Ron is stored in American whisky barrels and then in sherry wine barrels.</p><p><strong>Colour:</strong> Dark amber.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>Complex, soft, spicy notes, hints of wood, tropical fruit.<br><strong>Taste: </strong>Full, smooth, noble, complex, notes of spice, citrus, tropical fruit.<br><strong>Finish:</strong> Long lasting, sweet.</p>
