<p>It is a beautiful representative of the Spanish/Cuban style, molasses based, column distilled rum from the Caribbean, aged and blended by Oliver &amp; Oliver's Cuban "Roneros" in the Dominican Republic. The basis for the various rums in this series are distillates from 1995, 1990 and 1985 respectively – these are blended with a mother rum, with an average age of between 15-25 years, before the mixture is transferred to the solera system.</p><p>The fragrance starts with a very light scent of tobacco, followed by sweet vanilla and lots of citrus fruit. A very well-balanced taste of caramelized apple, roasted nuts, oak and fine hints of mocha.<br>Won double Gold in the Super Premium category (over 21 years aging) at the Rum Congress in Madrid 2013.</p>
