<p>For the Amaro Montenegro 40 botanicals from different continents are used.&nbsp;</p><p>These are then macerated for 20 to 30 days.&nbsp;</p><p>After this production process, and the different processing of the botanicals, 12 essences are created. These are blended together to create six different aromas.&nbsp;</p><p>These aromas are then combined with each other and with alcohol, water and sugar.&nbsp;</p><p>The final process is the addition of 'Il Premio', the seventh and final flavour.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Botanicals:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Nutmeg</li><li>Cloves</li><li>Cinnamon</li><li>Oranges</li><li>Coriander seeds</li><li>Marjoram</li><li>Oregano</li><li>Aniseed</li></ul><p><strong>Tasting notes:</strong></p><ul><li>Colour: Dark gold.&nbsp;</li><li>Nose: Soft, notes of spices.&nbsp;</li><li>Taste: Light, sweetish.&nbsp;</li><li>Finish: Long lasting, tart.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>Amaro Montenegro is the 'faithful friend' of every hour: pure, on the rocks, with soda, as a mixed drink or warmed up.</p>
