<p>The Shinobu Pure Malt Whisky is produced in Niigata.<br>Niigata is a large city at the mouth of the Shinano River and one of the largest port cities in Japan.<br>The word 'Shinobu' in Japanese means forbearance.<br><br>This whisky matures for 10 years in former sherry and Bourbon casks.<br>Master Distiller Mr. Usami selects the noble wines and unites them in a Japanese Mizunara cask by preserving the finish.<br><br>Filling is carried out without artificial colouring.</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>dark mahogany.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>dominant oak, hints of vanilla, flowers, nectar.<br><strong>Taste: </strong>Maltose, hints of citrus, mizunara oak, coffee beans.<br><strong>Finish: </strong>Long lasting, oak, maltose.</p>
