<p>With its Heering Cherry Liqueur, Denmark has brought a true liqueur rarity to the world market for almost 200 years.&nbsp;</p><p>This probably oldest cherry liqueur brand in the world is now enjoyed in over 140 countries.<br><br>Heering Cherry Liqueur is based on small dark "Stevns" cherries, which are grown on the island of Zealand around the village of Dalby and ripen on 25,000 trees every summer.<br><br>There, unusually calcareous soils provide optimal growing conditions.<br><br>A long ripening period makes them particularly fruity and aromatic.&nbsp;</p><p>The cherries are harvested in August and pressed together with the stones, this gives Heering Cherry Liqueur its characteristic almond note.&nbsp;</p><p>The raw mass is mixed with alcohol and the taste is refined with a secret and exquisite mixture of spices.&nbsp;</p><p>The elaborate maceration is followed by the completion of the liqueur and a three-year maturing period in oak barrels.<br><br>This edition was released to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Heering Cherry Liqueur!</p><p>Heering Original Coffee Liqueur is drunk slightly chilled or non-chilled, on crushed ice or on the rocks, as an aperitif, digestif or in between, in long drinks or cocktails.</p>
