<p>The Caperdonich Distillery was built directly opposite the now very famous Glen Grant Distillery.<br>Unfortunately, the Caperdonich Distillery never really managed to emerge from the shadows of Glen Grant and was thus given the ungrateful name "Glen Grant No. 2".<br>The Caperdonich distillery was closed and in 2011 the distillery was finally demolished.<br>However, some independent bottlers still own one or two barrels of the distillery that no longer exists and publish them from time to time.<br><br>This Caperdonich whisky matures for 18 years in American oak casks.</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>Amber.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>oranges, ginger, peat, smoke, campfire.<br><strong>Taste:</strong> cane sugar, apples, smoke, peat.<br><strong>Finish:</strong> Long lasting, smoky.</p>
