<p>In the picturesque countryside of Riegersburg in Styria, Alois Gölles is the third generation to run the traditional family fruit-growing business. After graduating from the renowned Federal College for Wine and Fruit Growing in Klosterneuburg, he dedicated himself to refining his parents' harvest of apples, pears, plums and peaches. His entry into the distillation of fine brandies began in 1979, followed by the founding of his manufactory for high-quality vinegar in 1984. Today, the range includes around twenty fine brandies and just as many types of vinegar, which regularly receive recognition.<br><br><br>ALFRED Rosso Semi-Dry Vermouth was born out of the long-standing friendship between Alois Gölles and Manfred Tement, who had known each other since their school days in Klosterneuburg from 1974 to 1979. Four decades later, they decided to create a vermouth together. Manfred Tement's red wines are characterized by their expressive taste and elegant, finely integrated tannins. In combination with the fine extracts, blends and brandies from Alois Gölles, the Rosso Semi-Dry vermouth has a structure full of character.<br><br>Central to the character of the vermouth is the wormwood herb, which is complemented by a carefully selected blend of botanicals to further refine the variety of aromas: cardamom, thyme, fennel, coriander, rose petals and orange peel.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Tasting notes:</strong></p><p>Color: Rosé.<br>Nose: Classic, fruity.<br>Taste: Strong, elegant, clear structure.<br>Finish: Long lasting.<br><br>Enjoy the vermouth with tonic or soda.</p>
