<p>Tamnavulin is a whisky distillery in Scotland, which has only existed under this name since 2000.<br>Tamnavulin is Gaelic and means "mill on the hill" or "mill in the mountains".<br>The distillery was opened in 1966 and closed again in 1995.<br><br>After a name change and some renovation work, the distillery was allowed to reopen its doors in 2007.<br>Today, typical Speyside Whisky with a strong character is produced here.<br>The Tamnavulin Sherry Cask Whisky matures in American oak casks and gets a finish in three different sherry casks.</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>Bright amber.<br><strong>Nose: </strong>Tarte Tain, vanilla, bananas, oranges, caramel, ginger.<br><strong>Taste:</strong> Warm, exotic notes, nectarines, almond cream, toffee.<br><strong>Finish:</strong> Long lasting, fruitcake, apricot.</p>
