Description
<p>The Sylvius Gin is distilled, macerated, bottled and labelled by a small team under the supervision of Master Distiller Justus Walop at the distillery in Schiedam.<br>The name of this gin comes from the physician Dr. Franciscus Sylvius, who developed a medicine from an elixir with juniper berries against gastro-intestinal complaints.<br>The grain used is traditionally ground in a windmill and after 4 weeks of maceration, lavender and star anise are added separately and the gin is bottled.</p><p><strong>Colour: </strong>Clear.<br><strong>Nose:</strong> Mild, fruity.<br><strong>Taste: </strong>Juniper, citrus, hints of spices.<br><strong>Finish:</strong> Long lasting.</p>
