A batch made in limited quantities (2,000 bottles/year) by Santiago de Cuba, which previously served as a gift to members of the Cuban government.
The distillery with a long history pays tribute to the Cuban rum culture. True to the name "Treasure Island", its packaging depicts a real small treasure chest with distillate enclosed in a ceramic decanter.
In the surprisingly complex, well-structured aroma of rum, we can first encounter the spicy and fruity aromas of molasses. All these are complemented by pleasant coffee, chocolate and vanilla notes before the slightly herbal, orange finish.

The rum is pure handwork.
