The distilling history of the Pfanner family goes back over 160 years. That's five generations who have made their passion their profession and continue traditions.
The symbol of the hare, which is the common thread running through this series of whiskies, comes both from the field, like the summer malting barley, and from the forest, like the oak wood.
The Single Malt Whisky Classic is pure honesty from a single distillate. Distilled in a balanced ratio of Scottish and Irish methods and matured in select oak casks.
It was Pfanner's first wood barrel-aged spirit. Its impulsive vitality and unique aroma characteristics are the inspiration for the barrique-aged varieties from the parent company of renowned Vorarlberg brandies.
Tasting notes:

Nose: heather, herbs, oranges.
Taste: Warm and smooth, strong, herbs and heather.
Finish: Long lasting.
The single malt whiskey is best enjoyed neat.
